Hello, i just bought a dodge magnum that has been sitting around for at least 2 years. When i changed the oil filter it said mopar 2007-2008 so i assume at least 2 years. Well i want to flush the radiator and has orange coolant. Is this the color of Hoat coolant? Orange? I bought dex cool but i think this is wrong from reading online. I want to get the exact same coolant because if i miss some old coolant i dont want any gel to form|||Dexcool is GM coolant. HOAT (Mopar) coolant isn't really available anywhere that I know of but the dealership...parts stores might have it but I've never seen it (maybe I haven't looked for it). I believe a brand is zerex g-05 but you better ask a service manager before using anything.
The color is pink-orange. Dexcool is just plain orange. Don't use dexcool in your car, use whatever was used from the factory.|||the coolent orange color is 2 the corrison as u said that the car i sitting 4 around 2 years and in this period of time the coolent in the raditor cuses corrision.
you cn get coolent in green color that u cn use but plz colcle with your service engg. also|||The color orange is for certain cars. There are different coolant made for different cars. Check with the owner manual to be sure of your flavor.
